Are You Collaborating With Hooligans?

There was this one guy who was going on a date, he needed flowers but was running too late to get one himself. This girl was precious and there was no way he was going to show up to this date without a bouquet fitting for a princess. He knew a flower shop that could get him what he wanted but it was 30 mins North. His reservation was 30 mins South and he had 35 mins to get there before his date showed up. He needed help. He decided to find some help on Desires and Exchange app.

He tapped his cell phone frantically downloading and signing up for what he's heard was where to get whatever you needed quickly. There was a lot of stuff on it, "Are you bored? Let's hangout", "Do you have some heavy lifting to do? I'll be there", "Let's exchange some of those burdens for fun times.", " Do you need to get something delivered? We'll be there", "Need some help running errands?". There it was. He tapped for help and in 15 mins there was a knock on the door.

Tap Tap, Tap Tap

"Who's there?" He asked

"Desires and Exchange", a gentle male voice responded.

He opened his door.

"Could you get a flower to this address please?"

"Sure sir right away".

The man was a bit slender, tall, and what most might determine as attractive. He seemed like he'd done this before and knew what he was doing. The man tapped his device with practiced hands and in no time he had an order slip for me.

"The flower will be there when you get there sir", the man concluded.

"Thank you".

That was quick. Mmh... I wonder why they name it Desires and Exchange. He thought to himself.

He quickly rushed out of the apartment to make his date.

His date went without a hitch and the flower was there as promised. She liked it and he even got another date. Nothing could be better. Suddenly he remembered, he hadn't paid the errand company.

He quickly found the order slip and called the number on it. Someone picked up.

"Hi, I realize I haven't paid for my order, order number BL-0-0-D-COV. How do I go about doing this?", He said.

"Are you satisfied with your service sir?", the representative responded.

"Of course, everything worked out as you promised.", He responded.

"Then that's all we care about, we already got our payment from you.", the representative said.

"Oh that's lovely, I appreciate the kind gesture but I still would love to make a payment, is there a website or PayPal I can use?", He asked.

"Oh we didn't mean you didn't pay sir, you already did. We collect out payment in different ways.", the representative said coyly. "Thank you for your patronage sir, we hope to do more business with you in the future", they said ending the call.

He was a little confused, what did they mean they got their payment already?

Hooligans come in different shapes and sizes. Some might be helpful, even help you get a burden off of you but in actual fact they might be ready to pounce on you.

The Holy Spirit impressed on me that some of us are collaborating with Hooligans guised in help. It might be that Netflix show that just seems to assuage your boredom, or that habit that seems to get you in with the crowd. They are enticing and enjoyable but make no mistake, they come with a price. Your soul.

Be careful what you're collaborating with, they might be hooligans in disguise.
